The course presented a survey of films, and features a cultural studies approach to the study of film from the birth of the art form to the present. Introduction to Theatre (Theatre 2100, Theatre 104): Duties included creation and implementation of syllabus for this general education course which focuses on theatre as an ongoing part of culture, and provides students with an overview of theatre production, script analysis, and the intersections between theatre and diversity. Issues of the Contemporary World: Censorship and Performance (Theatre 597): Duties included creation and implementation of syllabus for this capstone course—an exploration of issues of censorship of performance in both Western and Asian communities with particular attention to live performance and current trends. Taught in a compressed five-week summer term. Writing Intensive. 30 Students per quarter. Ohio State: Summer 2010, Summer 2011.

Script Analysis (Theatre 2110, Theatre 301): Duties included creation and implementation of syllabus for this course required for Theatre Majors. This course teaches students the ways that meaning is constructed through the mechanics of a play script. Self Images: America on Stage, 1830 to the Present (Theatre 367.01): Duties included creation and implementation of syllabus for this study of theatre history at an intermediate level with emphasis on writing skills. My version focused on American Political Theatre from 1830-2011, including a section highlighting reactions to the 9/11 tragedies. 30 Students per quarter. Writing Intensive. II. Teaching Assisting:
Literary Locations: Ireland (English 693): With Dr. Ray Cashman. This class is the study-abroad section of a quarter-long course. My duties here included serving as “Co-Resident Director” of a ten-day trip to Ireland, including stops in Dublin and Galway. During this trip, I assumed partial responsibility of the well-being and safety of 13 students, as well as opportunities to share my expertise on Irish culture and Irish theatre. Issues of the Contemporary World: Censorship and Performance (Theatre 597): With Dr. Alan Woods. Duties included leading weekly recitation (discussion) section, grading, exam writing, and direct responsibility for 30 students. Ohio State: Spring 2011.
Introduction to Theatre (Theatre 100): With Dr. Nicholas Dekker. Duties included leading semiweekly recitation (discussion) sections, grading, and direct responsibility for 100 students (Three sections) per quarter.
